Spotify Possibly Hacked - Change your password!
A few days ago some information was spotted online claiming to be account information for some Spotify users.
It was accompanied by claims that it was released by hackers that had gotten into Spotify’s servers.
The information on supposed users accounts, their country, e-mails, captured keys, and when their accounts were to renew.
You can easily do some googling to find the data that was supposedly leaked to dropbox by simply googling and possibly using the “wayback” machine for archived web pages. We ourselves won’t be linking said documentation… mainly due to the fact that people on this list probably haven’t changed their passwords…
Now, you’re probably wondering why “supposedly leak” was used – well Spotify denied being hacked at all – which isn’t their first time being in this situation. Now it is very possible that they’re being truthful, but it on their end to prove so. Either way we highly recommend you change/update your password just to be safe.
