NSA To Quit Phone Spying?

The NSA has had some heat about their mass untargeted surveillance, but just on Saturday, November 28th, all unwarranted phone record collection will cease. Thanks to the USA Freedom Act that was passed on June 2nd, 2015, the NSA will now have to request an individual’s information if it is suspected that there is any terrorist involvement.

Security enthusiasts agree that this reform is definitely a step in the right direction, however, the USA Freedom Act only restricts the collection of phone records. This means the NSA can continue to bulk capture any other media that it currently collects.

What do you think? Should we continue to give up our privacy for protection?
