Microsoft Is Spoon-Feeding You Bull💩...
Microsoft continues to remove options that grant independent use of their operating system, creeping ever closer into wanting to watch every action you take.

"We are removing known mechanisms for creating a local account in the Windows Setup experience...”
- Amanda Langowski
Microsoft's Amanda Langowski has "explained" that they're planning to remove all work-arounds for creating local accounts, stating that it creates too many opportunities of ruining the OS installation if a user exits certain screens which leads to some configurations not completing their setup.
I... I just want to get this straight - just so everyone can follow me...
Enough users would use built-in methods, created by Microsoft, to create a local account because it's a desire for many to just create a local account. To make an account without internet would be a local account... but enough users did so, that - instead of just implementing the option to make a local account in the interface - the "solution" was just to remove all ability for local account creation... to – what was it, Amanda? To prevent Windows from having misconfiguration of the device?
Enough with the bull-honky! I'm tempted to even call it pure bolshevism! But let me pull back from slinging politically laced rhetoric and get back to the point:
I will be aiming to move all my windows devices over to Arch Linux over the next few years. Microsoft aims to take more control and their trajectory shows they've no plans on course correcting. It's their product, they can do what they want with it - but I'm done giving them my money if they're going to still reach their hands into my property that I purchased and tell me what to do with it.
