Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice

The sequel to Superman: Man of Steel has finally received it’s title! Warner Bros. revealed earlier that it’s “Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice”.

Now many have scoffed at the title proclaiming that it’s “cheesy” or “corny” – however, in the world of Super Powered Heroes and Heroines there will always be cheese and corn. The title reflects what the movie is – the setting stage of the Justice League movie. Due to that fact, “Dawn of Justice” is fitting in my opinion, however I would have called it: Man of Steel: Dawn of Justice – simply because it’s supposed to focus on big blue.

I’m looking forward to the movie even though I’m worried about pacing and trying to rush things. I think they can pull it off as long as they only focus mainly on Supe and Bats. Doing any more might bog down the movie and make it random and sporadic. If you’re curious as to who are all said to be shown in the movie, let’s look shall we.

NOTE! The BvS and JL movie is supposedly taking notes from the New 52, that’s why Cyborg will be one of the founders for the JL. Please do not base your superhero DC lore off of cartoons – look up comics for your comparisons.

Henry Cavill is returning as our Big Boy Blue, while I enjoyed most of MoS, I even
think that Henry made a good looking Clark/Supe, albeit he’s a bit short for the role.

I’m hoping for a fantastic return, just be sure to get his flying down a LOT better, please!

Ben Affleck is taking up the mantle of the Batman! While I was against this at first, I’ve grown to stay that Ben has the face for Bruce, and a chin for Batman. I’m simply hoping he can play the role now that we’ve seen him in a Batsuit, which looks GOOD if I do say so myself.

We have a lovely Ms. Gal Gadot filling the role as our badass Wonder Woman! Now I love her height (even though WW is taller than 6ft, that’s hard to find our lady actresses) but she is far too skinny. I’m hoping she puts on some muscle, even if a little, for the JL movie. She has a WW face, a close height, I just need to see her fit the role in terms of acting, and hopefully gain some muscles

And finally, Ray Fisher will be taking on Victor Stone aka Cyborg! Personally, I have not seen much of Ray, but I HAVE to say that he looks like Victor Stone, regardless of the variations of various artists. I’m hoping they do his cyborg form justice for the, well Justice League movie!

Might I add, he has the body type (muscular) for the role!

What I need to see now, is his acting, though I think you’d have to really try in order to not do a good, if not decent, role of Cyborg.

Now there are other rumors of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Jason Momoa (Dotheraki from Game of Thrones) in the movie as well – I think Jason would be a great Aquaman, and I think Rock would possibly fit a good Shazam, but nothing is confirmed for these 2.

What are your thoughts about the movie, the actors/actresses, and the overall project?

I’ll be keeping my eye on it, as I cannot wait for the movies.
